Lions Concessions
The Pioneer Lions Chuckwagon, a trailer equipped with a hamburger grill, sodas, hot-dog machines, popcorn machine, a refrigerator and freezer is a familiar sight to those who frequent local festivals and events such as the three-day Go Fourth Festival for the 4th of July, and the Cowlitz County Fair.
The wagon gets crowded inside with 9 Lions and/or family members helping cook for and serve the customers. It's a convenient place for festival-goers to buy food, snacks and candy, and provides substantial financial support for many of the Lions’ community service projects. The Chuckwagon provides almost one-third of the Pioneers program funding every year.
In addition to the Chuckwagon, the club's ice cream trailer, kettle corn and cotton candy concessions sell sweet treats and make lots of visitors happy!

Pioneer Lions sell lots of popcorn, caramel corn, and kettle corn in many flavors.

A Pioneer helps to set up the Chuckwagon for another successful day of sales.

The corn cook needs lots of protection from the hot oil and kernels.
